Che-he! Che-ha! Che-ha-ha-ha!
Go Illini, Go!

Che-he! Che-ha! Che-ha-ha-ha!
Go Illini, Go!

Illinois! Illinois! Illinois!

Illinois upset #21 Penn State today and is 4-1 on the season, 2-0 in the Big Ten. I think Illinois had only won 4 games the past three seasons. To say that I'm happy is an understatement.

Oh yeah, and in case you haven't heard, the Cubs are in the playoffs. I'm shuttin' up now.

So I need to start paying attention to these heartbreakers again? Hail the Chief! So what's half-time now without him? It can't be the same.

Go Illinois!

What a good weekend to be from Illinois! It's been a long time since we've had anything to cheer about football-wise. Yea for Ron Zook!

My boss went to Penn State. He goes to the local sports bar every weekend to watch their football games -- Monday's gonna be fun!

BTW, Rich taught the boys the words to "Go Cubs, Go!" tonight.

It's funny how many transplanted Illinoisans we know out here in CA (U of I alums and Cub/Bear fans). To complete the trifecta, Brian Griese needs to have a good outing tomorrow!

Yeah, the post-Chief era seems a little weird. I suppose they just do shadow puppets on the 50 yard line.

And Rich now needs to teach ME the words to "Go Cubs, Go!" We're heading back to Illinois in a little over a week. I hope to be able to catch a post-season game! We'll see.
